As we prepare to celebrate the International Workers’ Day (for some Labour or May Day) on the 1 st of May, an international celebration of people in waged labour and working classes, DISCE launches a new survey across Europe asking the important question of Who cares about creative and cultural workers in Europe?
Researching for our Creative and Cultural Workforce in Europe report we have tried to provide a comprehensive overview of this area of work, however, we recognised that official statistics often do not provide all the knowledge we need. There are many organisations (from large institutions to small informal networks) who across Europe are active in collecting data (quantitative and qualitative) about cultural/creative workers and their working conditions across a range of relevant sectors.
Therefore, we have launched a brief survey love to pivot to gather information on the many different data objectives, needs and views of these organisations. Our aim is to document their work and bringing them together. If you/your organisation work in this area, please complete this brief survey, it will only take five to ten minutes.
The survey is available in 4 languages (choose your preferred language):
The survey will remain open until Friday 3 rd July 2020.
Your information will be treated confidentially (read the ethics guidelines in an american addiction centers resource), and you will be able to select how you would like us to use your data/information in the survey. We aim to produce a report with the (anonymised) data collected to share with all participants by the end of 2020.
