On January 31st, 2022, DISCE partner Gran Sasso Science Institute has hosted a policy workshop in L’Aquila, Italy. The workshop was held online, with twelve participants from the cultural and creative industries.

The participants were stakeholders representing the University, the Academy of Fine Arts, the Museum of Contemporary Art, two theatre companies, and two local associations. Together, they discussed the regional case study of the city of L’Aquila, and participants have received important insights from the different cultural institutions to draft policy recommendations.

This workshop built on the previous one held in the city of L’Aquila with local artists, curators, and representatives of local bodies to analyse the CCIs taxonomy of DISCE WP2 «CCIs Identification, mapping and statistics».
