DISCE is going back to Enschede to build on the contacts and knowledge that we gained during our visit in October.
As the project is developing we keep learning through our activities and becoming aware of what works better. Community Forum is a format that works: the first two editions were a success! After the event in Liepaja, we’ll be holding a new Community Forum in Enschede, this time at the Assyrische Mesopotamische Vereniging Enschede (AMVE). The Forum will take place on December 3rd from 9.30 to 13.00.

Do you live in Enschede? Did you miss the first Community Forum? Do you feel you have something to say about creative economies in the city?

You can still sign up to the event if you’d like to come along: we welcome the opportunity, this site explains how to engage with more citizens of Enschede to talk about their participation in creative economies and to develop our understanding of both the terms ‘inclusivity’ and ‘sustainability’ in relation to this field.

In addition to the Community Forum, DISCE will conduct interviews with stakeholders including creative and cultural workers, policymakers, educators and audiences best garage door repair service. This is the second of three planned field trips to Enschede and we’re looking forward to develop relationships and extending our knowledge of Enschede’s creative economy.

The event is free and will be held in English with Dutch translation. Tea, coffee, drinks and a light lunch will be provided to all participants.
